By accessing or using Verified Locals, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time with reasonable notice.

Verified Locals provides a directory service connecting homeowners with verified trade professionals. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the platform to post false information, harass users, or circumvent our verification systems.

Professionals listed on the platform have passed our verification process at the time of listing. Verified Locals does not employ these professionals and is not responsible for the quality or outcome of any work performed. All contracts are between the homeowner and the professional directly.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any professional will be available, will perform work to your satisfaction, or that the information on their profile is always current. We strongly recommend verifying insurance and licence independently before hiring.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verified Locals Technologies Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any work performed by a listed professional.

By submitting a review, you grant Verified Locals a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform. Reviews must be honest, first-hand, and not contain defamatory, offensive, or commercially competitive content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, including for providing false information, violating these terms, or receiving sustained verified complaints.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
